Ordered from the US in 2009 - this articulated tractor is the latest addition to the Estate.
John Deere 6 cylinder 824 cubic inch/13.5 litre engine rated at 491hp/max. 540hp
with John Deere 18-speed automatic power shift transmission.

The first job of the season is to prepare the new stubble fields for drilling
using the 5m Vaderstad Top-Down.

Most fields are accessible by running on the 6m grass margins - quite important when the width of the tractor is greater than the narrow country lanes around the Estate!
